"Telefonica-owned O2 has quietly become the subject of interest from Three UK owner Hutchison Whampoa. According to The Sunday Times, the UK mobile market could quite soon shrink from four major operators to just three, after talks between the two companies reportedly progressed to a point where Hutchison Whampoa is ready to make a £9 billion bid for Britain's second-biggest carrier."

Other than when I tried to get a PAC from 3 (I practically had to beg and I thought the advisor was going to cry because he was losing a customer!) the customer service was fine.

I have also found 3's CS to be good, especially the Twitter / Facebook team. I also had no problem with O2's customer service.

Looking forward to a new injection of life to the network from an owner that cares (will make a nice change).
If HWL do the same for O2 as they have for Three we should have a world leading network slight_smile
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

They gotta call it ozone, adverts will write themselves. Global coverage with a few holes, covering your world, o3.
Those phrases are now copywrite to viridis Mr Ka-ching, I will let you use them for jaffa cakes.

I am sure Mr Ka-ching will be pleased with your offer.

Though I am more inclined to prefer @Beenherebefore 's option of O32.... wink

Yes, they didn’t waste too much time dropping the O2 brand in Ireland, as this extract from their website reveals:

“We will soon be welcoming O2 customers into the Three family. You’ll see the O2 logo disappearing on the high street and online and start to be replaced by Three, but for you, it’ll be business as usual.”
