Hi guys happy Thursday!

Have any of you ever cracked your smartphone screens?

Check this out. Motorola has filed a patent for technology that enables a smartphone screen to repair itself if it gets deformed, using a "heating effect".

Surprised

What do you think, could this work...? Thoughful

I thought this sounded cool: "The user can reportedly use their body heat to get the screen to its original shape as well."

Would I need to have a fever? LOL

In any case this would be great for those that tend to drop their phones or for myself since I carry my phone in a handbag and you know how women's handbags are... filled with stuff that can potentially scratch the screen (keys, for example).

See here the article I read. Smiley Happy

I hope this comes to fruition... not sure how costly the phone would be with this screen?

No idea what costs are for current screen materials... in the article it says it would be using some kind of "shape memory polymer" for these ones!
