It seems Samsung are moving away from Google maps.
Good move?

Google Maps has been around for a while and it's not perfect IMHO..
An example: My new mota has Google send to car. And it's a right fiddle. Wish it were easier.
And a downloadable version to save on those data charges is always preferred.
So lets see if Nokia Maps performs better.

Well it's one of the Map providers Apple recommended when they screwed up their own mapping offering

I'll be interested to see if these maps are going to be available for my Samsung tablet. I already have an app called MapFactor that allows me to download maps to the tablet's memory and just uses GPS. It uses Open Street Maps. No data use required. If it is going to be available, I'd like to be able to compare their navigating capabilities.
