S3 mini to S4 mini sim !!!!

my son just upgraded from s3 mini to s4 mini,, only the sim in the s3 is a reg sized sim from what i can see,, so am i gunna need a smaller one for the s4 mini,, or do u get one to activate in the box when new phone arrives.. help please 🙂

This https://support.mobicity.com/entries/22973952-Different-Sim-Card-Sizes shows the different sizes.

O2 should put in a micro SIM card.

They have started to supply nano SIM cards with adapters now too.

Have you checked if the middle can be pushed out of the old sim at all....?

He may need a new SIM card if it's an older one if he wants to take up a 4G tariff , if he's not already. And your in a 4G area.

OK, just thought it best to check as combi sims have been around for a couple of years now.
It's unlikely to be a 4G sim anyway so best to switch to the latest 4G compatible type.

It may have been mentioned already, but you can pick one up in any O2 store - Just walk in and they'll sort you out and transfer the number across to the new sim (just in case a new one doesn't arrive with the phone)....

The phone will be 4g ready yes.

But he'll need to be on a 4G data enabled tariff.

And in a 4G area.
