Seems Vodafone are taking over some stores too so maybe this is what the networks were aiming for when forcing them into administration? Or is that just the cynicism in me...

Yes I had already seen this (related to the Midlands). Though from what I heard, they have no news on the future of the 600 employees)

I also heard on the radio this morning that Dixons Carphone are to buy some of the stores - not just the ones in Currys - PC World as well as EE and Vodafone.

Hi @aldaweb Is there something wrong with that link? It opens but so does a pop up box which wants me to sign up to read FT articles. When I close the box...the article disappears slight_frown
