Can anyone help I have recently been charged £6 for something I have no idea about when looking at my bill I noticed a charge as above relating to PM Connect. I believe this to be a scam. Can anybody shed any light on this I have reported this to O2 but as yet have heard nothing back.

I'm not sure how this is an O2 problem. Surely this is down to PhonePayPlus as the regulators. I would be calling the direct number for a refund and cancellation. Thankfully the op spotted the problem straight away, some people don't notice for months.

Everyone seems to be out to scam someone these days.
Consumers need to be vigilant and report everything suspicious or sneaky.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Customers also need to be careful what links they click on. My first post showed it was a subscription service accessed via an advert with a link. I believe one of the posters got a refund by complaining to PM Connect directly)

I hope you can get a refund, its a little unnerving just how easy it is to sign up for these services. Certainly the biggest problem by far is facebook.

PM connect is just the platform used by companies to scam innocent users.
You need the number on your bill to track down the culprit.

That is all good advice but to help shut this scam down everybody affected must report to the regulator www.phonepayplus.org.uk only when they have enough complaints will this stop
