O2 took £1 for PAYG data access with NO warning

Anonymous

They could have at least messaged the day before to say they will be taking a £1 on the next data connection so turn off celular data to avoid being charged. But oh no, they slyly just took it. Was at home on WiFi when it happened, this is not a technically sound way to charge for data and O2 better change things quick or risk losing more customers than they already have.

There is lots of information supplied about Web Daily both on the information you received with the sim card and on the website.

Once you use data you get charged.
Nothing sly and all covered in the terms and conditions.
Add a data bolt on if you use data as it is much cheaper.

If it is genuinely a one off mistake ask cs if they will refund it for you.

Pretty much sure that this is included within the T&C's that you agree to when you activated the SIM.
