O2 call alert

I've just activated this and my husband phoned me to check it was working. It gives him the relevant message but I did not receive the text message telling me I had missed the call....anyone else have this problem?

It may not be instant.
Text messages can sometimes get delayed due to differing network conditions.

It's working fine for me. If I just turn voicemail off, I get a text to say that someone has tried to call me even without turning text alerts on.
