I share your sentiment @jonsie.
I like Sadiq Khan, but as you say, he's a politician, and what they say as opposed to what they actually do is always up for debate. He's hardly been in office, yet he's already breaking his promise of freezing London's transport fares for four years. Pretty much my thoughts as well @Bambino. Lies, lies and more damn lies to get elected....then full of excuses as to why promises were never kept . Usually deflecting negative comments with statements such as...'yes but...look what we have achieved in this particular area' I hate dishonesty....
