No service in RH19

Anonymous
Not applicable

"No service" frequently throughout the evenings and early mornings. Same result if I try a giffgaff SIM.

If I restart my Galaxy Tab2 it always shows 3/4 bars signal, but within 10 secs I frequently get the "no service" ("no entry") symbol. I try to switch internet data on and it says no SIM installed !!! Sometimes I get signal but when I try to pick up an incoming voice call, service is immediately switched off yet again!

Middle of the night, or midday, it usually works OK, calls and internet data. Got to be a capacity problem.

I tried the O2 guru chat but, strangely, the chat fails every time I start to mention "no service"!

Maybe Sussex is considered too rural and not a high priority for O2 network capacity... defintely creaking at the joints here. Anyone else round here have this problem?

Hi redfish

Welcome to the O2 community.

I would suggest downloading the MYNETWORK APP to report your masts and keep pushing the lack of service to O2.

I'd agree - Certainly sounds like the very common capacity problem which is been seen all over the country, not just in your area 😞
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
