I have been unable to make calls or send texts properly for over the past 4 days and like others have been told by live chat that there is nothing wrong, where there so obviously is! I pay for 30 days service in my monthy tarriff not 26!! Why cant O2 be transparent about this instead of leaving it to the customers to do the running!!!? Do you have customer service standards? I havesent my email of complaint and would urge others to do the same, I wonder, wouldnt a better approach  to send us a text if a mast goes down or is being upgraded to give us an idea of what is going on and for how long? Or would this mean that you would pay more in refunds for lack of service?

Update on my service.........my signal suddenly returned at about 1.30pm with the delivery of a text message sent to me at 12pm.. So far it's still on but the site says there is still a problem with the mast! No idea what to think now Crazy

Sounds like a mixture of the mast status and mast congestion

It takes a while for the status pages to update both for issues and repairs.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hey there, I thought I'd join in with this.  As of today I can't get on line and I can't send or receive text messages.

There's no mention on this website about problems in my area, but a live chat a few minutes ago ended with me being told there are issues in my area that they hope to be resolved in the next 48 hours...although they did say they don't know when exactly.

Live chat...ok.

Is there anyone else you know having problems on O2 in your area?

I would be inclined to try cleaning your simcard and/or trying it in another handset to be sure that it is a network problem.
