I must look up sardonic in the dictionary ha ha ha !!! havn't heard that word in a long time, but then my soh always was/is more down right royal Yorkshire belly-laff type - I won't be buying anything Apple except perhaps a Granny Smiths ..... & I won't be making any haggis either (I don't cook anymore much, done my share of that) but I don't mind eating haggis, that & Yorkshire Pudding with gravy of course = ha ha ha !!! ..... ty again

You've reminded me I haven't seen any haggis in my local supermarket yet, better check further afield to be sure of getting one in time.

That's all it is really, if you get a good one from a decent shop you'll find it will feed more than you think as they "explode" when you cut them open.
With a nice gravy and some neeps an' tatties they're not at all bad.
A friend bought me some red berry and whisky based haggis sauce back from Scotland but I've yet to find somewhere that sells it.
