YOU need to show a little patience. You have a good phone and Nougat is hardly going to change your life.

You can get Nougat via the beta programme by using Huawei's own HiCare app to check for updates.

Have gone for these updates in the past (on my P6 & P8) & never had a problem. Even though the update will not wipe your data, would recommend to do a data backup to be on the safe side.

I have to ask why the need to use a beta programme and any issues that it may cause. Wait until it's been properly tested surely to god?

It's not a must, but the option is there - for impatient people who have to try out Nougat ASAP
