FEEDBACK - and related question

Anonymous
Not applicable

I was reading a thread entilted "please anyone know o2 customer service email address"   and noticed that the "solution" is in fact the original question the OP posed.    I am assuming that it was the OP who selected the message as the solution but there must surely be something wrong with the "system" if that is possible.  Perhaps one of the genii on the Community Team might look into that at some point.

PS Perhaps I ought to have posted this in the "Website Bugs and Errors" section - sorry.

Hi Gerry,

If you see such an instance where a solution's placement is confusing, please use the 'report content' button and I'll see to it when I can.

Mods or admin will move solutions if they feel appropriate and you can report them to alert them of such instances.
There are occasions where it is feasible to answer your own question with the correct answer, but I agree, this is mostly done in error by new members.

Thanks @MI5   Is the "Accept as Solution" button only available for a limited time, like the facility to Edit?

Thanks  @MI5 and @Anonymous Someday I might understand how it all works together.

@Toby

I think I will let sleeping dogs lie for the time being as I have no idea at all what damage an "inductance" ( electrical phenomenon whereby an electromotive force (EMF) is generated in a closed circuit by a change in the flow of current) might cause in here!  Smiley LOL

Baffling sometimes.....

Baffling = "Be confusing or perplexing to; cause to be unable to think clearly"    and yes, I'd say you do sometimes have that effect on some of us @jonsie    Smiley LOL    Hope you are enjoying your time away from this "sceptred isle". All your Christmas shopping done?
