Do o2 Gurus Read Their Emails?

When setting up my new contract I was advised that o2 Gurus would be contacting me to assist in setting up McAfee security on my device. I said that it would not be necessary as I could do it myself but was told they would contact me just in case.

And next day I received an email from o2 Gurus confirming they would be contacting me today at 12.30 and if I wished to cancel to reply to their email. This I did immediately.

On Monday I received a second email from o2 Gurus reminding me they would be phoning me today at 12.30 and if I wished to cancel ........ So I emailed them again to cancel!

Guess what. Today at 12.30 o2 Gurus phoned me. I missed the call as I was in the bath and funnily enough don't take my phone in with me.

You would think after 2 emails cancelling the call they would have cancelled the call. Or perhaps I am being silly.😁

This would be my query.... I find it amazing that other people complain that O2 never ring back when they promise they will do so.....and yet they seemed to be falling over themselves to ensure @Glory1 got a phone call she didn't actually need ?

You know @Cleoriff I was very tempted to emal o2 Gurus saying that very thing. But then they probably wouldn't have read that one either! 😕 To say it's beyond ridiculous would be stating the obvious.
