Direct to Bill ~ Charge to Mobile.

Hi guys.

Well I've just been on to O2 Customer Services via 4445 to ask for a bar to be placed on my account to stop this service which was in connection to recent posts we've been discussing.

It took a while to clarify I didn't want my Big Bundle or Bolt On removing.

The agent then put me on hold and spoke to a manager and came back to say no bar facility exists !

Has anyone else had any confusion and issues with this ?

Cheers jonsie and damien1

So it seems pretty straightforward.

Just seems Customer Service don't know the above. 😞

Has anyone else phoned and tried doing what I have ?

I rang up at 8pm and sadly got through to the overseas call centre to a young(?) lady who hadn't a scooby-doo. She put me on hold and came back some 5 minutes later and said it's an option that can't be switched off.

I referred her to the page...another 5 minute hold and she came back and said she had switched it off in the direct debits...mnn, direct debit probably cancelled now.Don't know

Think maybe I'd better call back in the morning and make sure I speak to the UK call centre....

I've used it to buy apps from the play store and find it quite useful

Hi guys n gals

I have reported back to Community on this subject elsewhere a couple of times.

Charge to Mobile default is OPT IN.

If you don't want it then a call to CS is needed to ask them to remove it. I have done so on both my phones although it wasn't straight forward as the first agent (foreign call centre) hadn't heard of it. But having said i was being put through to a uk agent i then ended up in South Africa (cos that is the uk) and i asked the agent first "do you know what i mean with charge to mobile". She did and two minutes later they service was barred. Job done.

So that's all you need to do guys. ..... good luck but recommend that as CS on 202 don't all know i would avoid live chat like the plague.
