Is it possible to get back a text message after you have deleted it or has it gone for good

Unless you back up to iCloud / PC Suite etc then yes a deleted message has gone I'm afraid.

You could ask the person to resend it or send a copy of your text back to you.

What phone are you using was it backed up?

In future, there are apps you can use to auto backup SMS messages (depending on phone and OS).

Do you have TuGo turned on? If so the text may still be in there even if you have deleted it from the handset.
