Do 02 provide compensation for loss of service? A mast is down in my area and has been for over a week now. 2G isn't even working. Any experience much appreciated.

No.

Outages etc are covered in T&C.

Here is the link if you wish to take a look.

But they may offer a gwg when your service is back if you contact cs to ask.

In the interim if your on contract consider using TuGo if you have home broadband wifi.

What's app and Viber are available for Payg but the recipients need to have them downloaded too.

Best to wait until service is resumed then call and ask for a goodwill gesture, but as bob says, it's not compulsory......
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If you get no joy when you call them, ring back and speak to someone else.

I would certainly ring up several times if no joy the first time I know it's covered in the terms but I've never known them to refuse some sort of refund
