City Link - In Administration

I dont know whether o2 use City Link or not (I don't think so) but the accountants Ernst & Young have chosen today CHRISTMAS DAY to break the news to over 2700 employees that City Link have gone into Administration.

Surely that could have waited till tomorrow. I know no day is a good day but. ...

Its just the choice of day BoB.

There was no need to issue that today. That could have waited. Now there are over 2700 families sitting at home wondering what the New Year will bring for them.

I think it is a disgrace. It is now typical of the accountant led world we live in. Sod the people, the families.

I was made redundant on December 15th back in 1988, that was a Christmas I'll always remember! Disgraceful and heartbreaking for those affected. My thoughts are with them even from the land of smiles and sunshine.
