Thank you for sharing the link and attached article.

I'm sure many will be happy with this but I'm also sure many will be happy to get the 4G connection to begin with.

And then theirs people who are still awaiting a good 2G signal never mind 3G connection.

The article you've linked to says that Ofcom expects these changes to happen between 5-7 years from now. Considering how quickly technology advances these days, speculating what will happen in 5-7 years is a big ask. By then we could possibly be on 5G or even higher, so it would stand to reason that 4G would be cheaper.

5g should potentially be rolled out by 2022 on the 700mhz frequency according to ofcom;
