Can I still use 3G on my phone?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've a Samsung Galaxy S3 (not a 4G device) and have just upgraded my contract. My tariff includes 4G, but 3G isn't mentioned.

Can I still use 3G on my non-4G phone?

Thanks.

Yes, all devices are backwards compatible so 2g, 3g or 4g will work depending on device capability.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Even if you use a 4G sim you will still only get 2G and 3G as that's the spectrum the phone will receive.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
