Hi guys. My aunt just phoned me in a panic. She called me on Wednesday for a few minutes,  and got an email from BT to say she has used all her allowance. I checked my phone and the call lasted 4 mins 33 secs. I went up to check her phone and it said the call lasted 495 mins! How can that possibly be , even if she didn't hang up properly, I disconnected at my end. ? I made sure her data was always off too. X TIA

If she made the call she has to end it too.

Mind you @Cairdeas that's a hell of a lot. Nothing to lose by ringing BT and you telling them the call lasted only 4 mins plus. ...Put it this way, I would be doing that...:smileywink:

I had a similar thing happen with my husband when he rang me from his O2 mobile. He didn't end the call as he was driving. The call actually took 2 minutes...He was charged for a lot more. I made him ring O2 I was there with my phone minutes as evidence. They refunded him. So it does work...

It does 😞
My mother did it once and now she turns the phone off after every call she makes, just to be sure it's ended!
