Bad bad customer service on chat

I was put through to 'Brody' who said

Brody: Hello Emma, please give me a few minutes while I go through the above chat.

 

That was 13 minutes ago and I haven't had a response since. it was about a complaint for text charges - i guess this is how they deal with those!

Unfortunatley the chat service has a bit of a bad reputation.

 

Performing a search on here will highlight this.

 

I would suggest you allow some time to telephone customer services instead.

I also tried to chat online about an upgrade after 25 mins got fed up waiting while they checked my details I rung 202 and really got nowhere and have today taken a contract with another network after 15 years with O2 customer retention and service seems a very low priority with them now such a shame as I wasn't really being demanding only wanted to upgrade my phone tariff was fine
