So i rang them after waiting 0ver 5 mins someone finally answered to say "sorry it went to the wrong depot it will be with you tomorrow", because of pass dealing's with these so called delivery companies i rang again this morning to double check after a lot of umming and ahhing he said "yes its in nottingham you will get it today" im not holding my breath as the site shows it was supposed to be delivered before 12!.

Uk, Yodel, HDN all seem as bad as each other! not one can be relied upon.....would'nt mind but im being charge for this contract by O2 but not even had the goods yet!......ok rant over Smiley Frustrated

To get an idea of what uk mail can charge even for one off collection / deliveries look at the customer facing portal http://www.ipostparcels.com/ and then think what bulk deal they must be doing for o2 on the business side.

I decided not to take the chance and used the Click and Order option, so I can pick it from the local O2 store. The previous delivery service which was Yodel was absolutely terrible. At least this way the onus on the delivery is with O2 themselves.

I had a look at their website; all nice and professional, flash animation, jquery and all of the gubbings. It does seem to be business orientated which a large company like should be.

I wish I had read this thread before I placed my upgrade order. Phone was due to be delivered by UKMail today between 13:00 and 17:00 but nothing arrived. On checking the tracking info this said they had attempted delivery but there was no one home and they had left a card. I phoned UKMail to complain as I had been in all day awaiting delivery & no courier had arrived and no card had been left. Apparently they tried to deliver to a different property (one with a grey door whereas my house has an oak/brown door). Not sure whether I believe this or whether they just couldn't be bothered to come here (we are a bit out of the way). The address & postcode on the order are correct & other deliveries seem to arrive without issue. They are supposedly attempting to redeliver tomorrow, but if the driver doesn't know where he is going I am not hopeful.

Wish I had though to arrange collection from the local O2 shop!

It was only by chance i noticed the click and collect, It might be an option to set this up through customer service even though the order has bern processed now. Try. Calling 202 and explaining the situation,

The only issue i had was i needed a sim swap which gor fixed on tge same day,

There's no such thing as a good, reliable, cost effective courier company.  The usual suspects are either expensive, not reliable or not good.  And then there is good old Royal Mail who are brilliant at losing things.

So in this case, they are losing companies money by letting them down by not being able to keep the customer happy whilst still charging them money for a service they don't have. Maybe indirectly and nobody is blaming O2 in this instance although it's untrustworthy and sketchy services like this that spoil it.

I've used a few mail companies through purchases from different online websites and Royal Mail have been of the better ones. So I think the placebo effect if one is bad then all must be, plays a big part in peoples' mistrust and one of the biggest advocates for bringing back the high street retail to a bigger presence.

I don't believe this problem is anywhere near as bad as the posts here suggest.

I've been having deliveries by all the companies listed here and have never had a parcel go adrift ever.

We frequently have issues with parcel companies as we live on a small cul de sac called ********* Place and drivers frequently attempt to deliver stuff for us to the next road along which is ********* Street. Quite how this happens in the day and age of satellite navigation and reading I don't know.

Ukmail are probably one of the few companies that haven't gone to the wrong address yet (touch wood as I've a delivery coming from them tomorrow). They even managed to find us at 8pm last night in the dark!

Worst one was a couple of months ago when UPS tried to deliver an iMac to the wrong street. Luckily they weren't in at the equivalent house on the other street and I'd opted for a pre 9am delivery so managed to sort it out with UPS when the tracking updated to say delivery attempted and they came back later with it

Maybe I exaggerated a litte here. The only real problem I had is with Yodel which I wouldn't recommend unless you are looking for missing alpacas.
