Ive ordered a pay monthly contract phone at the weekend i knew i was at the hospital on monday so chose Tues as delivery day, received a text monday from UK Mail saying it would be delivered between 1-3pm great i thought, tues morning 10.30 i get a text saying "Your O2 order has experienced a possible delay please contact blah blah blah". So i rang them after waiting 0ver 5 mins someone finally answered to say "sorry it went to the wrong depot it will be with you tomorrow", because of pass dealing's with these so called delivery companies i rang again this morning to double check after a lot of umming and ahhing he said "yes its in nottingham you will get it today" im not holding my breath as the site shows it was supposed to be delivered before 12!.

Uk, Yodel, HDN all seem as bad as each other! not one can be relied upon.....would'nt mind but im being charge for this contract by O2 but not even had the goods yet!......ok rant over Smiley Frustrated

Hi @Anonymous

Easiest way is to refuse delivery. The courier will send it back to O2 and the new contract will be canceled. Your account will just stay on 30 days rolling contract. Then depending on what to do, you will need to call customer services. Hope this helps slight_smile

I know this 'refuse delivery' is an accepted process @Anonymous but personally I would be very very wary of it. Call me suspicious and over zealous but I would never trust that the phone would actually ever get back to O2

It's a given option to do this. ..me? No! The phone would end up on ebay, sold and IMEI  barred with me footing the monthly bill.

I prefer to send back via Royal mail rather than Trust The integrity of a courier driver.

I know that's an option but I didn't suggest it for the same reasons as given above.
There's no way I'd trust a courier who couldn't get it to me on time to ever return it to o2 properly.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

ordered a sim and tablet from o2 was being delivered by uk mail, they have told me it has been delivered and signed for at my home address but I have not received the goods. rang uk mail who don't even have the number for the depot who delivered it. uk mail are possabily the worst company to deal with , will not return your calls, you can only deal with a call centre. still to this day dont have my goods, have tried to speak to o2 on 3 occasions about this but guess what they can't even find me on there system have wasted over 2.35 hrs on the phone in the last 2 days getting nowhere thats because o2 is a call centre in South Africa. my advice use a different phone provider one who actually cares.

Hi @Anonymous

You must continue to get in touch with Customer services. Until you receive your goods O2 are responsible not UK Mail

Avoid Live Chat

We have said this many many times. However you must keep on with O2... no one else. When you get through just ask to speak to CS based in the UK....There are quite a few and they should put you through.

As of today, I still haven't received my phone. Status on UK Mail website says delivery is delayed. Today I'm going to o2 store and I will cancel my contract saying what I think about o2 and they service, hoping there will be lots of potencial customers in the store. I simply don't have patience and time to wait another couple of weeks to finally receive my new phone, I will just go to different phone provider.
