Ive ordered a pay monthly contract phone at the weekend i knew i was at the hospital on monday so chose Tues as delivery day, received a text monday from UK Mail saying it would be delivered between 1-3pm great i thought, tues morning 10.30 i get a text saying "Your O2 order has experienced a possible delay please contact blah blah blah". So i rang them after waiting 0ver 5 mins someone finally answered to say "sorry it went to the wrong depot it will be with you tomorrow", because of pass dealing's with these so called delivery companies i rang again this morning to double check after a lot of umming and ahhing he said "yes its in nottingham you will get it today" im not holding my breath as the site shows it was supposed to be delivered before 12!.
Uk, Yodel, HDN all seem as bad as each other! not one can be relied upon.....would'nt mind but im being charge for this contract by O2 but not even had the goods yet!......ok rant over

Not even a courtesy call or a free £5-10 on my top-up. Anything. Its a disgrace.
You can but only after 12 months.

Was the delay due to O2or the courier....?

Not sure exactly who is to blame as nobody seems to like taking responsibility. o2 said they dispatched the phone to the courier. The courier said my phone wasnt there when the driver arrived to pick up all the packages. Seeing as UK Mail was reasonably honest with me and all o2 did was try to pass the blame and accuse UK Mail of lying, im more inclined to believe UK Mail. o2 could have dispatched the phone, but if its not at the depot by the time the courier has left then thats down to o2. They shouldn't be advertising next day delivery if they cant get the phone to the courier on time.
Also, I was under the impression I could get the phone unlocked elsewhere, i.e a market stall. Doesn't have to go through o2 does it? They arent getting another penny.

Looks like I've been hit with the UK Mail are crap bug! My new contract phone was supposed to arrive yesterday between 08:49 and 09:49, didn't arrive, phoned UK Mail 4 times, every time was told it'd be with me within the hour. Phoned the local depot, they put me on an upgraded delivery to arrive before 12 today, not arrived, phoned the depot 3 times today, every time they've told me they can't get hold of the driver, I've now contacted o2 who are also on the case. It looks like I'll never have this phone.

I'll keep harassing them until it's in my hands, they'll soon be so sick of me they'll be walking to my house to drop it off
