Anyone Else Had problems With UK Mail Delivery??

Ive ordered a pay monthly contract phone at the weekend i knew i was at the hospital on monday so chose Tues as delivery day, received a text monday from UK Mail saying it would be delivered between 1-3pm great i thought, tues morning 10.30 i get a text saying "Your O2 order has experienced a possible delay please contact blah blah blah". So i rang them after waiting 0ver 5 mins someone finally answered to say "sorry it went to the wrong depot it will be with you tomorrow", because of pass dealing's with these so called delivery companies i rang again this morning to double check after a lot of umming and ahhing he said "yes its in nottingham you will get it today" im not holding my breath as the site shows it was supposed to be delivered before 12!.

Uk, Yodel, HDN all seem as bad as each other! not one can be relied upon.....would'nt mind but im being charge for this contract by O2 but not even had the goods yet!......ok rant over Smiley Frustrated

Fortunately I've never experienced  a problem with them but I can understand the frustration. You need to insist that customer  service  resolve this for you.

Hello everyone. I have got my new phone!

11 days after i was told it would be delivered i decided to go to the depot. A disgusting dirty place on a industrial estate in Radlet 35 mins away ( not as i'd previously thought 60 mins away in Milton Keynes as i'd changed the delivery address. Although the new delivery address is nearer to Milton Keynes than the old?)

I was ready and waiting outside with the staff who were having a smoke before 8.00. Pressed the intercom dead on 8.00 was asked name and postcode they said i'll be 2 mins. 20 mins later out they came with my phone showed ID signed for it. Gave me package. I said whats been happening i was supposed to get this last Monday. He shrugged his shoulders and said "yeah i know". On the packaging were 2 labels the earliest 10/12/14 internal to different depot. On the 08/12/14 i was told it will be with you tomorrow. The only other label was delivery for 16/12/14. So when they said 9 times it was being delivered they lied 9 times.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions on what to do. Calling o2 CS is pointless they do nothing no matter what you tell them.

Seriously shoddy support from both companies.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

What a damn palaver. So now we are being expected to go and look for our phones ourselves? Disgusting service slight_frown

The competence is astounding.

UK mail have replied to one of the emails sent.

"Having checked the item on the system it appears that delivery was attempted on 08/12/2014.(i believe it wasn't)

I do apologise, but as we only hold items for 5 days after the initial delivery attempt, this has now been returned to the sender.

As such, i must ask you to contact the sender to arrange re-dispatch to yourself.

I seem to have been more fortunate than you but then I am like a dog with a bone(no pun intended) and never email people as they can hide behind those. For me the direct telephonic approach is always good and I normally get some sort of result!. In this case I kept on at UK mail call centre until someone did something. However perhaps I was luckier than most and got a very helpful lady in O2 accounts(not standard cusomter service, I went through to the talk to some one about your billing account etc) and she called UK mail while I was on the 'phone and got a result for me.

Beligernace rules!!!!

Jezza 1234. Trust me it was luck you got your order. I too insisted, didn't give up, as you can see i called o2 CS many many times all they did was speak to UK mail who in turn said it would be delivered, just like you were told. I agree about email part but i was trying everything.

I believe you went and fetched your phone @Anonymous (if I remember correctly)....??

Perseverance but of a different nature..... Extremely sad that UK mail are paid for a service that they are failing to provide.

recently upgraded, I was told my phone would come on friday, friday came no phone. Then I got a message saying it will be sent on moday between 19:02- 20:07 of corse the phone has still not come, I tried to call in but of course I didn't get through. This is actually rediculous, if I don't recieve my phone the next following day which is tomorrow. I really don't want this upgrade anymore.
