iphone 4s

recently got mislead by a salesman to get the iphone 4s 500mb internet pakage went back the next day to return the phone he said phones for you dony accept a 14 day cooling off policy .i think o2 should never alow third party sales that dont work as they do its a scandal.
and 500mb when looked through my useage through the year previously i generaly use over 1ooo mb i think the cap of 500 for an iphone 4s is disgusting now im stuck with a #### pakage from a third party using one of the best phones invented .i cannot use it as it is inteneded to be used i have to get rid of alot of apps that steal mb for no reason im realy unhappy with o2 and there useless 500 mb
o2 you should look at your iphone 4s users and see how they used there 4 and reward them with a mb pakage according to there usage before not make us pay for people who have abused the mb i thought there was a fair usage policy why didnt you block the abusers ????? why make us pay????

Re: iphone 4s

See comments on the other thread you are discussing this.
Find out where the wi fi spots are as that will cut your 3G data usage, but why did you get 500 mb when there is a 1 gb offer, talk to them about adding that bolt on instead of the 500 mb one.
Were you previously on the unlimited package which ends when you set up a new contract? How did the salesman mislead you - fail to epxlain that there is a 500 mb cap???

Re: iphone 4s

Plenty of posts on the subject of data usage and iPhone users are no more special than other smartphone owners.
There is a 1GB bolt-on available if you think you need to switch.

Re: iphone 4s

i was previously on an unlimited simplicity sim over 2 years old and was truly unlimited, the sales man at PHONES FOR YOU told me 500 mb is practicaly the same unlimited id never use this amount .pffffft its easy for you to say add the extra bolt on ,not only do i pay a fiver more for buying from PHONES FOR YOU instead of buying online you want me to pay another £6 for 500 mb .i think o2 should rethink there tarrifs 500 is useless amount

Re: iphone 4s

So how we're you misled as he told you about the cap? And yes for most users the 500 will never be reached.

Re: iphone 4s

Opting out of unlimited may work for some people but did you not have an idea of your usage over the previous 2 years? A simple check on My O2 periodically could have saved you a lot of needless stress (and expense)
....course, if you do have to have the 4S immediately and listen to commission based salesmen!

Re: iphone 4s

I thought it was compulsary by law to have a cooling off period? Obviously not Well thats why I only look for iPhone deals direct from the networks and I avoid scam artists like phones4U and car phone warehouse like the plague.
