i recently plugged my iphone 4s in for a routine sync & since then my imessenger wont work & whenever i go on to twitter, facebook or whatsapp it says 'connect to itunes to receive push notifications'

ive tried all sorts of attempts to fix the problem but nothing works!

I've just had a quick Google and I found the below post, thought it might help. Apparently, restoring your iPhone from an earlier backup in iTunes solves the problem in most cases.
