Try the following:

On the phone keypad type in *#5005*7672# - this tells you the message centre number installed in the handset

P&G should show : +447802092035  Monthly : +447802000332

If it doesn't, type in the sequence below.

##5005*7672# this deletes the message centre number

Then **5005*7672*+447802092035# (for prepay customers}

or     **5005*7672*+447802000332#   (for pay monthly)

Don't forget the + sign

I've reset  all the settinme suggested in other posts bur every time I powere off my IPhone 4 and switch it back on the SMS message centre number reverts to the pay monthly number. O2 help gurus tell me they don't know why it's happening ! They suggested taking it to an Apple centre ! Anybody on here got any better advice?

There has been 2 other people recently on here saying the same thing.
They couldn't get calls or texts with 4G turned on.
We've suggested they try a new sim card but if that doesn't work there must be a network fault...
