iPhone 6/ iOS8 video guides

I've decided to make some new video guides for iOS 8. Some will cover features on the iPhone 6 Plus too.

Here's the first which covers the extended keyboard on the iPhone 6 Plus and a demonstration of what the various keys are/do. I'll make some more video/written guides when I get a chance, how you find them useful slight_smile

Firstly before using Handoff. You need to ensure that your Mac has the right version of Bluetooth for to be able to use the Handoff feature. Your Mac needs to have Bluetooth 4. If it doesnt have this, then Handoff will not work.

To check what version of Bluetooth your Mac has, do the following:

1: Click the  menu.
2: Select About This Mac.
3: Click on the More Info or System Report button.

4: Select Bluetooth from the sidebar on the left, underneath Hardware.

5: Look down the list of information until you find LMP Version.

If your Mac is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, LMP Version will say 0x6. Anything lower than that is an older version of Bluetooth and it won’t work with Handoff.

It would have been difficult/impossible to show this in the video as there would have been too much sensitive information on show, so instead, I’ve provided these steps in both a written form and screenshots too.

But once you have done the above, then you can follow the rest of the steps in the video guide.
