iOS 6.1 battery drainage

Since I updated to iOS 6.1 my battery has been draining fast every day, as soon as I have taken it off charge it starts losing battery immediately & even when I'm not using it & its just sitting on my side it uses up at least 5-10% without me even touching it or doing anything.

i know at least one other person with the same problems. 

Anyone else experienced this

I haven't really noticed a difference with the battery life, I have the usual  things like location services and Bluetooth switched off.

I'm not experiencing this on my iPhone 5.

I always find it best to do a hard reset after updating the software (hold the sleep/wake button  and Home button together), continue holding until you see the Apple logo and then release.

If that makes no difference then try running the iPhone to the point where it switches off and then charge to 100 percent.

If that makes no difference try first restoring off of a backup (as that sometimes can sort issues out like that). I had a battery drain issue with one of my iPhone's and I solved it by restoring from a backup.

Last resort is to set up as a new device/iPhone.

Thanks for the advice fatboy, just heard that they are releasing 6.1.2 later this week for the battery issue so that may help as well as your great knowledge
