bluetooth and iphone 3gs

I am gutted to find out that bluetooth transfer is not supported. Now my parrot ck3000 car kits nolonger work with voice, as i cannot tell it the contacts. The parrot website said it was compatible. well yes it communicates but most of features are now unusable.

I use a parrot carkit the same as yours, all works fine, does your parrot have the latest firmware on it?

When in car, iPhone connects to parrot, all contact sync across, voice dial work as does received, dialed and missed calls.

The 3G/3GS supports A2DP, AVRCP (limited) and Contacts sync bluetooth profiles so looks like it has whats needed.

I cannot get the contacts to transfer to the parrot. It says you need to send details via blue tooth. how do you get the for example number of say HOME without bluetooth transfer so that the voice recognition part works. am imissing something.
i'll try the link in a mo.
thanks

I use my 3G S with my Parrot RNB radio and after I synced the two devices it immediately recognised all my contacts and started working. I can scroll through my contacts and make and receive calls with no problems.
I think that if you try again persevere with it it will work.

the ck3000 does not have a way to scroll and choose.. it says in the manual that you must send contacts to the kit via bluetooth, as I did with my old nokia. I can call up people if I do so through the iphone (not handsfree) but not sit there and say "telephone home" to the parrot.

If you go to the parrot website, and select your device you will find a list of updates if your is the CK3000 evolution the firmware should be 5.21 if just the CK3000 it should be 3.18 http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/downloads
