Re: Using wifi but still been charged

How do I do that? I tried the link to view my bill it took me to a page saying my credit and stuff about my texts but not a list of why my credit has been used.

Re: Using wifi but still been charged

I am not sure as not a payg customer it just wondered if you could find out there.

I would speak to customer services and ask them.

It's just costing more to speak to customer services. Just leave O2 and be done with it. Just find the situation sketchy. Thank you for all the help though!

Re: Using wifi but still been charged

I thought it was only 25p to phone customer services however long the call ??

I was told to add a bolt on to stop getting the £1 a day charges for being online ... I got the worksweb bolt on which takes the £10 a month I put on for text and web pay and go which is all I pay  ... better £10 a month than £1 a day !

Re: Using wifi but still been charged

Leaving might be pointless when there is a good chance its something on your phone thats doing it and nothing to do with O2!! Probably find that your balance will go down on whoever you move to as well.

Could well be something like an app using push notifications, email or anything like that on your phone. As already mentioned when your phone is locked and in sleep mode as you call it wifi doesnt work but push notifications etc still work.

I would be tempted to restore the phone to new and see if it still happens. If not then something on your phone was the problem but hard to tell what. Could also try turning off push notifications and push email if they are on.
