Solved: Upgrading and Simplicity tariffs

Hello

Apparently I am eligible to upgrade from today. However, I have no plans to upgrade until the next iPhone is released (paid for iPhone 5 on release and have been using my contract sim in that since September).

My question is: On the upgrade section it gives me various choices including Simplicity tariffs. If I were to go onto a Simplicity tariff, would O2 consider that as me "upgrading" and therefore unable to upgrade when the new iPhone comes out later in the year.

If it's a 12 month simplicity contract you can upgrade to a phone contract after 6 months (I think), it's all in the T&C's somewhere....

You can just stay on a rolling 30 day contract (the one you are on now if you are happy with the plan) and then just upgrade at any time or when the phone of your choice is released.
