Update on iphone4

I have just installed the update ios 7.1.2 on my phone and for some weird reason I have not got an 'inbox' folder for my emails. Two messages came in and went into the folder 'unread' but after I had read them they just disappeared. I have tried everything to no avail. Can anyone help on this please?

Are you using the stock mail App.

Who is your email provider.

Try logging out and deleting your account and re key in your e mail details.

y a reset of your iPhone by ;

Holding the Top Sleep/Wake Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

And or ;

Settings , General , Reset , Reset All Settings.

You could also try a restore via iTunes.
