Unable to access iMessages and FaceTime on iPad but can on iPhone

I can access my iMessages from my iPhone but not from my iPad, and the FaceTime and message settings are faded Luton my iPad. It keeps asking me about a passcode but this is not matching the identity code when you put your fingers on the button to open up the devic.

Try resetting the iPad and also make sure you are logged into the correct Apple ID.
