I am travelling off to America in the summer for 6 months and wont be using my phone which is on contract. Does anyone know anyway which i can either freeze my contract or change it to Pay as you go, as I wont want to be paying £50 a month when im not using it!

It's a contract and u will have to carry on paying for it until ur contract is finished

No unfortunately not. You can make use of TuGo over wifi to utilise your allowances.

As said you can use tUGo & use Facebook messenger or other messenger apps over free wifi hotspots while your away

If so, pay off the phone part and cancel the airtime free of charge.
