I have a Iphone 4 16G PAYG locked by O2.I deal with my business in China and Russia.But when I asked O2 unlock my Iphone by my O2 sim card.They said my Iphone has a an active bar on my account! what is this?Some one know it?How can I do?

Yesterday I received an email from o2 confirming my iPhone was unlocked but nothing happened when I put in an orange sim card??
The phone has been without a sim card for a while and being used as an iPod basically.
Do I need to reset the phone or insert an o2 sim card???

Today I put in a request to unlock my iPhone. About 10 minutes later I received a text saying that my tariff has successfully changed and the details to the change would be in an email sent to my email address. This is where I'm confused.
Several hours pass when I eventually get the email. For some reason my tariff got downgraded to the next lowest tariff, and the email said that "it seems from your email that you also wish to unlock your iPhone." What is this "also" business? There was never a request to change my tariff! All I did was fill out a Unlock Phone form to unlock the thing. Is changing the tariff the standard procedure when unlocking an iPhone? I never went near a form to lower my tariff, nor was I presented with a choice of tariffs to change to.

I have connected to iTunes but it says I'm trying to connect a phone with an incorrect sim card, any idea??

It sounds like the phone isn't unlocked and you need to speak to customer service. I would recommend that you browse the O2 shop pages until you get a customer chat box popping up.
Apparently you can get the phone unlocked for you straight away using the chat service and they can also advise what the problem is if it is indeed unlocked.
Have your IMEI number available and you will be asked a security question.
Let us know what the problem is as it may help someone having similar problems.
