Hello, I've been trying to text my friend abroad from UK but my texts won't send. Do I have to download some settings or something? Please help! x

No you dont need any paticular app for this to work. Just ensure that the number is correct and that the internation format is correct. does your friend have a foreign network sim card (Which county is it) or is a o2 or other uk network sim card?

Hi sorry for delay in responding and thanks for getting back to me. I'm still having problems.. I have the number saved correctly in my phone, with the country code in place of the '0' My friend lives in Morocco, he is not with O2, I think he with a company called IAM. My texts still aren't being sent. Please help! x

Hello there. I use +212 That's what my friend told me to use, seems to work as I can receive texts from him. Just can't send them. :/

Yep, never had a problem texting local mobiles. I'm wondering if I have to buy a Bolt-On or something? Hope not!

I text family in Ireland a lot without problems (although if you ring your friend often i would recommend the International Favourites Bolt-On) try text the number again but instead of the + at the beginning just add 00 instead

You don't need to buy a bolt on. If the Moroccan network supports O2 your texts should go ok
