We've seen some confusion about where you need to enter your details if you have picked up a new micro sim and want to transfer your number to it so you're ready for when iPhone 4 goes on sale.

Doesn't work for pay and go - lady in O2 shop checked that I was a pay monthly customer.

Got my Sim from Meadowhall upper floor O2 shop today, no worries, friendly staff.

I did go in the lower level o2 shop and the man in there refused saying manager said no (he was a bit of a nob)

Did transfer of sim in car park while sat in car and it cut my old sim off within 15 seconds!!

Well done o2 and roll on Thursday!!!

Took 5 minutes here too, have my micro sim ready and activated to put in the iPhone 4 I have pre-ordered from Apple. Not taking o2 up on that crappy early upgrade offer, staying on this tariff for the last 6 months and jumping ship.

It's a shame o2 couldn't take my free minutes and texts off me and give me data instead in the early upgrade offer, its what the iPhone is for!!!

Yes, this is what we are doing, we just aren't snapping the micro sim out of the normal sized sim just yet and have inserted it as a normal sim into our 3GS's and activating it so its ready to pull out and put in the iPhone 4.
