Swap over of number

Anonymous
Not applicable
I took out an 02 contract last month and asked if I could keep my same number. I was informed that I would need a PAC code which I received from Orange then gave onto 02. While in the store the gentleman that served me said I can change it over but might take 24 hours for my old number to start working, which was fine. I have since noticed that when I text people it is using the 02 number but on certain other things it is using my Orange number. Anyone else experienced this?

You need to edit your phone number on phone.
Go to Settings >Phone >My Number and enter the correct number.
Then turn off iMessage and turn off phone.
Restart phone and turn iMessage back on and wait for it to activate.
Problem is now solved slight_smile

How long has this been happening? Try turning your phone off and back on again.
