Posted off my iPhone 3G on Saturday morning Special Delivery.
The money hit my bank account this afternoon! (Monday)

Now that's a fast service - and they paid the agreed amount!

Will be using them again!!

On that note i got the new iphone 4 on friday for £6 phone was £119 early contract fee was £100 whilst in o2 shop sold them my 16gb 3gs for 213 so walked out with ip4 for £6 and i new 18 month contract of course

I've used envirofone but am getting worried about the progress of my sale. They offered me £183.06 for my old 16GB 3G, which was fine, but I sent it a week ago in their pre-paid envelope and it's still not showing as being received. I used Royal Mail's Recorded Signed For service. Has anyone else used envirofone and found that it's taken a long time to reach them in transit?

Also pleased with fonebank, very quick and got the full amount, despite my phone not being in that great condition. £3 quidco cashback as well.

I guess Mazuma has the slight edge as its paid straight in to your account rather than by cheque.

For my iPhone 3GS 16GB, I was quoted £202 by fonebank, £200.10 by envirophone, £213 by O2 Recycle. Ended up selling it on eBay and was lucky enough to get £310 for it - minus eBay and Paypal fees I've come away with around £265 so for me it was worth the extra effort. Ebay fees are 10% (+ the cost of advertising, which was about £3 for me), Paypal fees are 3.4% + 20p. So you need to get more than around £250 for your phone to come away with more than O2 insure were offering once you've paid the fees (and be aware of the various scams around on eBay). As I said, I was lucky...

Did mine on ebay and I got £305 so I was well have with it especially as the buyer collected and paid in cash
