RADIO ON IPHONE : how can I listen to the radio on iphone ?

Yup.

In itunes, search radio, and you should be able to see a few different applications, check out the ratings, see what one is best.

Also you can use BBC iplayer on your iphone by going to bbc.co.uk/iplayer on safari, then when the site has become iphone sized , add to home screen as a bookmark, and you can listen to any of their radio stations... be aware that BBC sites use quite a bit of data. Best over WIFI - if you are able to use.

Stephen

RADIO ON IPHONE : how can I listen to the radio on iphone ?

Get Wunder Radio. It costs £3.49 but it's worth it because you can listen to many UK stations, including BBC National and Local stations, and it works over WIFI, EDGE and 3G.

RADIO ON IPHONE : how can I listen to the radio on iphone ?

Even in Wifi you can't listen to live BBC Radio thru IPlayer only programmes that have already been broadcast in the last 7 days.

As has been said wunderradio is the best but it doesnt have everything

RADIO ON IPHONE : how can I listen to the radio on iphone ?

I've used Wunderradio for the last couple of days and it's pretty good.
Used up about a quarter of my battery meter for about 40 minutes worth of Radio 1.

I also use Tuner which works very well on Edge. It's been great to just walk around listening to a radio show in Chicago as if I was there :smileyhappy:

DAB radio

Has anyone tried those plug in DAB raiios you can get for ipods from argos +/- £50? Do they work on 3g iphone? (The iphone has an annoying habbut..."This accessory....not work...) OK its £50, but unlimited, loads of stations, little battery use, no data.
I'd go for it if it works :smileyvery-happy:

RADIO ON IPHONE : how can I listen to the radio on iphone ?

I had one of the official radio adapters (not DAB) and it doesn'r work with the iPhone. Don't forget that they changed the pin arrangement for the IPhone so no charger docks etc will work with them.
So if it doesn't say it works, it won't.

That's what I used to use for my Ipod Classic though and it worked exceptionally well.

Also I think I was wrong about the amount of power Wunderradio used (obviously wasn't fully charged) but it's definately a noticable amount.

So if it doesn't say it works, it won't.

That's a sweeping statement and incorrect. The only change was to stop charging via the Firewire pin. So some chargers will no longer work. However many will if they charged via the USB power pin anyway.

I have a Blueye for my ipod video which is a remote control\ FM radio combined with a bluetooth handsfree to connect to a phone. This still works with my iphone. I don't get a display, but then I haven't installed ipod Touch drivers to it, so that would probably sort that out.
