Problems with text messages

Anonymous

For the past week every text I send to a particular number is not being received by the person. She rang O2 and was told the problem lay with me. Every other text message I send to other people is being received so why is this and what can I do? Thanks

Have you been with your friend when you've sent the text to ensure its being sent.

If she ever had an iPhone before and changed to a Samsung then look at http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Apple-launches-web-tool-to-deregister-pho...

Just tried to ring her there and got put straight to voice mail so it looks like she's blocked me, hopefully cos her phone is new and it's been an accident!

Or she hates you LOL

Yep, sounds like it's blocked - You'll have to email or whatsapp her etc or try withholding your number to call her.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

....and it's still a Samsung issue.

Op said "I have iPhone 4 and my friend has got a Samsung I think, she changed it a couple of months ago"

Thats why I thought about the issue with iMessage.

That's why I asked if you had been with her - to test out texting.

I hope it's just accidental with a new phone. 😄

Much more likely to be a blocked number or spam number in the Samsung. Very easy to do.
