I went to an o2 shop, got a package from them once I showed them my confirmation email from Apple, and got home, opened it up to see they'd given me an iPad Micro SIM, NOT an iPhone 4 one. I'm hoping it will work, but I have my doubts, I've set up the SIM swap, and will now see what happens....

I had one of these sim cards in the post - just tried to do it and when I try enter the sim number on the swap service I get "Sorry, there's something wrong with the serial number you entered. Please re-enter your sim serial number".

Think they've stopped people being able use ipad ones now - can you confirm this is the case?

guys does anyone know what i will need to do regards swapping sim contacts over. i dont have a micro sim as yet, i plan to go in to shop on thurs and get phone and sim at same time.
Im swapping from an HTC hero to the iphone 4

Any idea what i would have to bring in order to upgrade tomorow at an Apple Store?

I have a DL, and a Utility bill. However i havent had a bank statement for ages as i dont receive paper bills. If they want i can log into internet banking and show them the address there?

Shirley as its an upgrade O2 wont require all my details again tho?

Unless the routine has changed since I worked there, all you should need is a form of ID to do your URU check and a proof of signature, so either a drivers license or a credit/debit card should be just fine.

If you have an iPhone with a normal sim and your buying your iPhone, all you need to do is take the sim card out of the iPhone get it cut down and pop it into the iPhone 4

It's as easy as that

Im currently in the Falklands on tour of duty with the Royal Air Force, As the IP address of the internet suit we have out here, is outside of the UK the O2 website doesnt realy let me see alot. (It just sends me to a page 'we do not ship out side the UK')

I love my current iphone 3g and i would like to get a new iphone 4 when i get home next month.

I have 3 months left of my current 18 month contract (ending september) being £35 500min 600 txt (i think) im happy with my contract lenght, mins and txt ect

I think a 16gb handset would be fine for me as i have a 8gb one at the moment.

What are my options? and How much am i likly to pay?
