No more Christmas gifts from Apple

Unfortunately Apple WILL NOT be running their usual 12 Days Of Christmas/12 Days Of Gifts app 😞
I was looking forward to that as its a nice little surprise after Christmas.
I wonder why Apple decided to stop it as it was popular.

True and yes I kept a few of the freebies given away last year.

I've not seen anything concrete as to why.

However their has been some nice reductions in prices on the App Store and iTunes so maybe that's it ?

Usually get my Free Apps from Apps Gone Free, and usually pick up the cards from a well known Coffee chain!

I have been following this with interest since the first thread about Apples free gifts was posted a few days back.

I think ComaChameleon indicated on that thread, it appeared it wasn't going to happen....

Sad really for those people who looked forward to these gifts...:smileysad:

I don't usually go down that route to get App's.

I saw articles on various sites a few days ago where people were predicting the imminent announcement/update from Apple regarding this.  It would of been nice if Apple actually confirmed that they are not running it anymore, rather than just keep quiet and hope that people forget about it.

I sometimes collect cards from my favourite coffee shop and I get various books for free.
