My iphone 6 screen is black and won't do anything

Hi

 

My port date was today and the new iphone 6 i bought was fine all day and now the screen has gone black and i can't turn it off or on.....help please?

Hi

 

Thank you to all the people that tried to help.  The phone was fully charged btw, nothing worked and so as i'd only had it 4 days i took it back to Carphone Warehouse, who exchanged it!

It may have gone to sleep mode. You can try  "press and hold the Wake/Sleep button and the Home button together for 15 seconds".....see if that helps?

Worst case try putting it into restore mode (via @Cleoriff advise above) and connect to iTunes.

If all else fails try booking in with a genius at the Apple Store, since the 6 isn't 1 year old yet (just a matter of a couple of weeks) it will still be under warranty
