We always obtain the actual product (in this case the iPhone 4) first so we can laser measure its shape, corners etc to allow us to produce the best hugging fit. Some case suppliers produce cases before they actually have the iPhone. We find it's best to have the iPhone so we can try it and test it under normal day to day use first.

I've ordered a leather pouch from Ikonicedge a couple of weeks ago, but it was just a pre order because New Zealand is not getting the iPhone 4 till the 30 July.
Unlike some manufacturers who make their pouches/cases purely from the iPhone 4's dimensions, Ikonicedge do not do this.
This is the reply I received back from them, when I enquired about the availability of their pouches.

I worked out the price at the time I ordered, was around £30 this is including including the delivery from New Zealand. I paid around £27 for a Knomo leather pouch from the Apple webiste, and this one was not what I would call top quality leather.
The Ikonicedge looks like (and sounds like from the various reviews/testimonials, it is made of top quality leather and is a top quality product.
I had considered the SENA, but looking at past reviews on them, the durability of them seemed to be an issue sometimes.
