Hi @Anonymous

Looking at a few existing threads concerning delays on both models of iphone 6 you are not alone.

It does seem to lead to Demand has Outstripped Supply.

I would as suggested speak to O2 Customer Services - All points of contact are here http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus or use the Online Live Chat.

If not having the Refresh Tariff isn't a deal breaker then CPW and Apple Stores do have these in stock more frequently than the Networks it seems.

These only offer 24 month contracts however.

You should be able to reserve one just after midnight via http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/iphone/ and a person just takes photo I.D and they open a contract for you.

My colleague spoke to Carphone Warehouse and they delivered the iPhone 6 the next day. She negotiated the handset upfront cost ,and the iPhone 6 came as promised.

Their is a complaint process if you wish to follow this via http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain/complain

We are seeing updates from O2 customers in the same boat as you of GoodWill Gestures being offered due to the delays. I assume is on an individual bases.

To get an upgrade elsewhere you would need to cancel your current upgrade 'in progress' with O2.

Tips / Help Links below are if you do cancel.

If you do cancel as intimated in your post then I've added some additional information on how to cancel ,and a few help links that may be of use if that route is taken.

Cancelling a Contract : http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/m-p/566774/highlight/true#M56526

Obtaining a PAC Code to move your number to another Network : http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Obtaining-a-PAC-Code-from-the-O2-Network/m-p/544270#U544270

Do however check out other Networks Services by using one of their payg SIM cards. If your phones locked to O2 SIM cards then unlock it free via https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form

O2 help link : http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/unlocking-your-iphone-and-using-it-on-another-network

Do let us know how you get on.

A simple search would lead to a large thread showing people have been waiting since preorder started some 5+ weeks. Have a read through it, there are various suggestions but until O2 can supply you will continue to wait. I would be looking at another supply source.

This certainly seems the right way to go....at least then if the op takes the time to read all 400+ pages...he will know many are still in the same boat. Hopefully that will stop previous posters jumping onto this thread as it will get more and more confusing.

I think the long thread has set up its own 'club' who continue to give advice and support to new members by sharing their experiences..:smileywink:

Great idea, a whole new landing page for them! Could O2's website cope with the strain....
